What is CitiService®?


CitiService® is the unique, global after-sales service interface between the customer and Citibank. It was developed to provide a superior standard of service with the highest level of professionalism, efficiency, accuracy and timeliness to support the business franchise.

What products does CitiService® support?

International Products:

International Cash Letter Services – A special check clearing service which offers competitive availability of funds, systematic tracking of deposits, timely and comprehensive reporting for clients.

International Lock Box – A service which facilitates the collection of U.S. Check deposits for credit directly to our client's New York Demand Deposit Accounts. Deposits must be drawn on banks in the U.S. Deposits are mailed to a designated post office box which is cleared on a regular basis. The deposits are then posted to the client's account and any non-check items that accompanied the deposit are batched and dispatched to the client. Information regarding the deposits are available through CitiDirect On Line Banking.

Sweep Investment – U.S. Federal Reserve Regulation prohibits banks in the United States from paying interest on non-consumer Demand Deposit Accounts. Although our clients manage their account balances carefully, at times unexpected or late funds may arrive. Our Nassau Sweep offering allows our clients to invest any funds remaining in their New York Demand Deposit Accounts overnight so they do not remain idle. The balances are "swept" out of the accounts overnight to an interest-earning deposit account in Nassau and the following morning both principal and interest earned are returned to account.

Worldlink – An electronic multicurrency cross border payment system serving corporations worldwide. WorldLink gives our clients the opportunity to streamline the issuance of both paper-based and electronic payments to parties around the world and automate the conversion of the related foreign exchange.

CitiDirect® Online Banking - Citibank®’s web based electronic banking solution.

Local Products:

Account Services – Local Current and Savings Accounts. All deposits at Citibank, N.A. Jamaica are insured by the Jamaica Deposit Insurance Corporation (JDIC) up to an aggregate amount of J$600,000 or foreign currency equivalent.

Citiservice Service Level Agreement

The attached form allows customers to list the contacts who are authorised to receive account information. For security purposes, it is a requirement for clients to complete a Service Level Agreement.

Automated System - Interactive Voice Response (IVR) menu

The Interactive Voice Response allows customers to access account information between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm from Mondays-Thursdays and 8:30am-5:00pm on Fridays.
Information can be accessed via this medium once the customer completes a Citiservice Service Level Agreement; after which calls can be initiated to our service centre at 876-936-3397.
