Access the power of CitiConnect - The solution for your Beneficiary's payment information online

What is it?

CitiConnect is a web-based delivery platform, that displays Documentation information to non-Citibank® customers, who are a part of a financial Transaction with our corporate customers.

CitiConnect enables our customer´s "Beneficiaries and Payers" to access the information on those transactions, outstanding or historically (up to 90 days).

Payers we will be able to "Initiate a Payment" of their outstanding collections (titles for our receivables customers) through different options such as debit their account in other banks, deposit slip, etc.

How it works?

A Citibank® corporate customer (Payments or Collections) will send a transaction to Citibank®. The transaction (payment or title) will be stored in the CitiConnect database.

Based on email address and Tax ID input by the customer, the system will filter which transactions will be picked up and loaded into the registration database. An invitation email is then to the payer/beneficiary of that transaction. For security reasons, two different e-mails will be sent containing each one a part of the invitation key.
For that process to work smoothly, it is mandatory to assure completeness and correctness of the following information:

Beneficiary/Payer Tax ID.

Beneficiary/Payer e-mail address.

Upon receiving these e-mails, the Beneficiary/Payer will access the CitiConnect URL specified in the email. On the web page, the user will be prompted to enter Tax Id and the two components of the Key they had received.
The user will also be prompted to enter some company information: some clues (used to identify them in case something happens to their password), the login id of the user, etc. Once this information is complete, the user, on the next business day, will be prompted to login using the id they had input .
Once they accesses the URL for the second time (one business day after the user completed the activation), they will be able to use the application.
By completing the process just described, the user will be able to see all transactions (Payments or Collections) that any Citibank® customer has sent (consolidated by the beneficiary / Payer tax Id). This means that they will have full display capability, not only to see outstanding transactions (Payments or Collections) but also the historical information s/he has for the last 90 days.
